Google introduces extensive nutrition information for various foods

Have you ever thought how much of calories in an apple you eat? Most of us do not pay attention on calories of what we eat. However we like to know about nutrition information of the food items. Google makes the things easier for you. With this new move, you will be able to easily find the extensive nutrition information for more than 1000 food items including fruits, vegetables, meats, grains, beverages and so on.

If you are a calorie conscious person and would like to know the nutrition information on what you eat, simply type in Google search box like “apple calories” or “How much calories in a boiled egg?” or “How much protein in chicken?” It will quickly show the results with a calorie counter and nutrition chart under an expansion. Generally calorie detail for every 100g of the food item is shown

Google says that this feature begins with only in English and will be available in other languages in future. Moreover Google has planned to add more food items with more features.

From my mobile, I could find the fact that chocolate, cheese and maize are very rich in calorie.
